The Pest Control Plan That Actually Keeps Bugs Out

One-time pest control treatments solve today's problem, but in South Florida, where ants, cockroaches, spiders, and other insects are active 365 days a year, the problem recurs next month. That's why most South Florida homeowners get the best results with a pest control plan that provides consistent, scheduled protection, not reactive, one-time fixes.

At Royal Pest & Termite, our year-round pest control service treats your home inside and out on a quarterly schedule. On each visit, we spray a professional-grade barrier three feet up your exterior walls and three feet onto your lawn, creating a protective perimeter around your home that intercepts crawling pests before they reach your doors. We also treat the interior, baseboards, kitchens, bathrooms, entry points, and any areas where pests travel and hide.

Perimeter Treatment + Indoor Treatment on Every Visit

Every quarterly visit includes both exterior and interior treatment, because keeping pests out requires addressing both sides of the wall:

Outside Your Home: The Perimeter Barrier

We spray a professional-grade barrier treatment around the entire exterior of your home:

  • 3 feet up the exterior walls, covering the foundation, siding, and the lower wall where pests travel
  • 3 feet out onto the lawn, creating a treated buffer zone between your landscaping and your home
  • Around all doors, windows, and garage openings, the entry points pests use most
  • Around utility penetrations, A/C lines, and pipe entries, the gaps they slip through

This perimeter barrier intercepts ants, cockroaches, spiders, and other crawling insects as they approach your home from the yard. Pests that contact the treated surfaces are eliminated before they reach your living space.

Inside Your Home: Targeted Interior Treatment

We treat the interior of your home to eliminate any pests already inside and reinforce protection where they're most commonly found:

  • Along baseboards and wall-floor junctions, the primary travel routes for ants and cockroaches are
  • Around the kitchen and bathroom plumbing, any moisture-rich areas that attract pests
  • Inside cabinets, under sinks, and around appliances are the common harborage areas
  • Around interior door and window frames, all entry points from garages and porches
  • In closets, storage areas, and utility rooms, any undisturbed spots where pests harbor

Interior treatments are applied in cracks, crevices, and concealed areas, not sprayed across open surfaces. The products go where the pests are, not where your kids and pets play.

The Pests Our Quarterly Plan Keeps Out of Your Home

Our year-round pest control plan provides ongoing protection against the insects South Florida homeowners deal with most:

Four Treatments Per Year, Zero Gaps in Protection

Our plan includes four visits per year, one every quarter, timed to South Florida’s pest seasons so you’re always protected when pests are most active:

Q1 (January/February):

Winter baseline. Pest activity is lower but never stops in South Florida. This visit refreshes the barrier and treats the interior after the holiday season.

Q2 (April/May):

Pre-summer treatment. This is one of the most important visits. Ant colonies ramp up, palmetto bugs start moving indoors, and pest populations surge as temperatures and humidity rise.

Q3 (July/August):

Peak season reinforcement. Pest activity is at its highest during the hot, rainy summer months. This visit maintains the barrier during the time your home faces the most pressure.

Q4 (October/November):

Fall transition. Insects often move indoors as conditions shift. This visit carries protection through the holidays and into winter.

Just had a No Tent Termite Service completed today. I live in Miramar and wanted to use a local company. I am very satisfied. The process began 2 weeks ago with their Sales Representative Aaron Wilton. I am in sales so I recognize a professional. He was knowledgeable and presented options clearly without pressure including attractive payment terms. The 2 techs who preformed the service were Greg and Michael who were polite, through and efficient. I would certainly recommend Royal Pest.

Year-Round Pest Control FAQs

What pests does this plan protect against?
Ants (ghost ants, sugar ants, white-footed ants, big-headed ants), cockroaches (palmetto bugs, smokybrown, Asian cockroaches), spiders, silverfish, earwigs, centipedes, millipedes, and other common crawling insects. For specialized pests like German cockroaches, bed bugs, termites, or rodents, we offer targeted treatment services separately.
How often do you come out?
Four times per year, once every quarter. Each treatment provides continuous protection until the next visit. If pests appear between visits, our unlimited callback guarantee means we return at no additional cost.
What exactly do you treat on each visit?
Every visit includes both exterior perimeter treatment and interior treatment. Outside, we spray a barrier three feet up the walls and three feet onto the lawn around your entire foundation, plus all doors, windows, garage openings, and utility penetrations. Inside, we treat baseboards, kitchen and bathroom plumbing areas, cabinets, entry points, and other areas where pests travel and hide.
Is it safe for my pets and kids?
Yes. All products are safe for children and pets once dry, which typically takes 30 minutes to an hour. Interior treatments are applied in concealed areas, cracks, crevices, and under cabinets, not on open surfaces. Our company was named after our owner’s dog. Pet safety is a core value.
What if I see pests between visits?
Call us, and we'll come back at no cost. We ask for 7 to 10 days after a treatment for the products to take full effect. After that, if you’re still seeing activity, we return for a free callback. No limit on how many times.
What’s the money-back guarantee?
If you’re not satisfied with the results of our service, we’ll refund your money. We stand behind our work.
Do I really need pest control year-round in Florida?
Yes. South Florida doesn't get cold enough to kill off pest populations. Ants, cockroaches, and spiders are active every month of the year in Broward County. There is no "pest season" here; it's year-round. Consistent quarterly treatment is the most effective way to maintain a pest-free home without gaps in protection.
Can I get more frequent service?
Yes. While quarterly is our standard plan, we can increase to bi-monthly or monthly service for homes with heavy pest pressure, dense surrounding landscaping, or a history of persistent pest issues. Call us to discuss the best frequency for your property.
